The Kane Players
The Kane Players are a chamber ensemble, based in Cardiff who perform throughout Wales and England, with ambitions to take our work farther afield in 2014.
2014 marks the 100th birthday of Dylan Thomas – one of the greatest poets of the 20th century. In celebration of this, The Kane Players will be touring settings of three of Dylan Thomas’ poems composed by Bernard Kane.
The Kane Players will tour to the Port Eliot Festival in Cornwall; Festival No. 6 in Portmeirion, Wales; Dylan Thomas in Fitzrovia Festival, London; and hopefully finish the year celebrating with a performance in New York City, a city Dylan Thomas loved and where he spent his final days in 1953.
